New Delta 46-460 variable speed lathe
This has been a great lathe to turn on. I really like the variable speed. Normally I run in the #2 belt position and then vary the speed in that range. I have put this lathe through all kinds of work and it has held up well. As you can see from the pictures below I have turned many large maximum size bowls on this lathe. For some of the bigger ones out of balance I did go to the lower range and had no problems slowing the lathe down for the off balanced blanks. I can recommend this lathe to anyone wanting a midi size lathe, it will do what you need.
